another puppy stage....??????
She has now begun to take pieces of poo from the yard and bringing them into the house...  
I go out every morning and evening and try to pick it all up...but of course I seem to be missing just the right pieces that Heart finds the most irresistible.... 
What's a mother to do????????? It's soooo embarrassing
I sure hopes she gets over this by Sheepiepalooza....  |

| Supposedly, eating pineapple will make their own poo unappealing (can't imagine how it ever IS appealing!). Toby is past this stage, thankfully, but he does love pineapple (who woulda thought?) It does give him gas, but then everything gives him gas. |

I know it's not fun for you, but it is entertaining for the rest of us. Canned pumpkin works well, too. It makes the poo taste bad to them. Give it a try and check her mouth before she comes indoors.  |

| Thanks for another tip to try to curb Jack's .......well you know. Problem is I'm not sure he's eating his or the others.......(where is the urrpy emoticon??) I hope I can get them all to eat pineapple, the pumpkin hasn't had much effect. I've also tried Lowry's Meat Tenderizer.
Fortunately my sniffer can catch him as he comes through the door and we march to the sink where I grab gobs of wet paper towels and swab out the mouth...I've been known to use a tiny dab of soap if I'm reall PO'ed. He has learned to sit there and take it like a man, er dog. |
