Don't use The Tubdoctors (SCAM-SHODDY WORKMANSHIP)
Since then it has been a major fight. They said the warranty is only for four years(this said after Dh was told five). Phone calls back and forth and they said they WILL NOT repair it because the four years are up. We did not call when this first started because I thought it was only a year warranty and the year was up. We just found out that it was for...five, wait, oh yeah its only four years. Dh did take a picture and it is DATED as April of 2005. The picture in their mind does not matter...we did not call. We will be contacting The Better Bureau. |

| Unfortunatly we can't find the original contract. Thats why we didn't contact them when this first started, I thought it was only for a year. |
| I'm sure it's no consolation to you but we have the exact same issue with our tub that was reglazed by them.
For what it's worth, a perfectionist friend of mine reglazed his tub himself (kit at Home Depot or Lowe's). It took several days (and remember, he's a perfectionist, I think that's key here!), but it's beautiful and three years later still looks like the day he did it. I'd rather just chunk the whole tub and get a new one but it's cast iron and we're not up for the project at this point. |
