Ideas?????

Hi All,
This is not sheepie related, but since many of you have other animals I figured I would pick your brains. This morning when I went to do my feeding/clean-up routine in my cat room there were four very large areas of blood on the floor. The blood was bright red and dried. I immediately went over the three cats and could not find any signs of where the blood came from. Checked, bottoms, mouths, bodies - nothing. I also checked to see what was in the litter pans, again nothing. All three cats ate normally and all three cats are normal in their activity levels. I even checked around to see if there had been a "kill". No dead bodies anywhere (not that I have rodents, but you never know). I have also spoken with my vet, who had no ideas either. We are both completely baffled These were not little spots, but areas about the size of a fist. Even in human terms it was a lot of blood. There has been no new blood since I cleaned up this morning. Theories, guesses?????
Kathie
P.S. At night Dudley and Oscar are downstairs and the cats are upstairs, so I know this is not sheepie blood.

Hmmm, indeed a mystery. I would take a wait and see if it happens again. If not, all is good or almost. If it happens again I would sleep in the room or get a kitty cam.
Bloody urine?
that was my thought, Ron. UTI or stones.
