ohhhhhhhhhh Nicole, THANK YOU. I'm sitting here laughing (not that a blain in the bingy is a laughing matter) cause I couldn't for the life of me figure out what a blaine or a blingy was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I'm having a bit of difficulty extrapolating that one, myself. |
think someone is pulling our legs! |
(According to 2 online dictionaries, a blain is a sore.
Bingy, well, we can guess.) If the blain worries you, call the veterinarian, or take your puppy to a friend or neighbor who has had animals before, so that they can give you advice. If you cannot find anyone to ask, can you post a picture here so we can see the problem? |
AHH, sore on the bumm!! Poor pup!
I would start by shaving the hari around the sore, cleaning it well and assessing the extent. If it is anything more than superficial I'd defiantely go to the vet. If it looks like a "hot spot" was with betadine twice a day to dry it up and keep the pup from chewing on it. Hot spots and sores often develope under a hair matt or as a result of a flea (or any bug) bite that the dog "bothers". |
I didn't guess bingy = bum, but then you're the nurse and can better understand this medical jargon. |
Just check Mosbys Medical Dictionary, it's in there |
Wow! the vocab used in this forum is ......well I've learned two new words today!! |
Could it be on the belly or stomach too?

You guys crack me up!
I am guessing this person is from Scotland...blain sounds like that. I would have to agree with Ron. It didn't sound like they wanted to mess with it. Take the boy puppers to the vet if you are concerned. |
Umm, yes, back to the topic...
Have a vet check it out to make sure what you're dealing with. IF it's a hot spot, Neo Predef Powder also works well to help control the itch, dry it up and prevent infection. http://oesusa.com/DarbysToe.jpg |
