leashes and shopping and christmas, oh my!
My hubby and I went to the mall yesterday to look for mittens for me and christams gifts- I had a little culinary accident, and I can't wear gloves right now  So mittens were a must (Hey MN this time of year is cold!) So we went into Eddie Brauer to look (sadly, no mittens) and what did I spy but a really awesome leash- Like 2" thick, 3 feet long, gorgeous cotton leash with a heavy duty clip on the bottom, and a fleecy handle on top. So I started thinking "Wow, that burgundy one would look great with a sheepie or a collie, and they even have a matching collar!"... So I reach down to grab one and... Hubby intercepts with an "absolutely not! We won't even have a dog until summer" Sigh... So no leash for our future dog! But if anyone is looking fo a nice one... An they won't have them in summer... Maybe I'll have to sneak back and get one!  I guess it's pretty bad when I start buying gifts for a pet I don't have yet, huh... Talk about pre-spoiled!

Seems to me some truly deserving soul would love one of those. (Jumps up and down frantically waving...Me Me Me!!) Ahem okay I'm kidding! Ha I can see it now are you going to spoil your sheepie when they finally arrive at your house!! |

Oh and Katie they did have a really pretty color of green too- more of a light spruce color, rather than the traditional christams green- same nice design too, with the matching collar. It was at the regular Eddie Bauer store- I know they sell online and via catalog too, if one of the local malls doesn't have the store.... They were really nice. I'm thinking of secretly starting a "doggie box" for my pupper- Hey it's alot easier to buy a little at a time than all at once, right... right? (looks around somewhat guiltily) Karen |
| You sound just like me shopping for Lennon and Sofa, I want to get them everything I saw in the store. I have a feeling my children are going to be very spoiled too So far, Lennon has a new Giant Jolly Ball, a huge rawhide bone and Sofa a new bed, a squeaky plush and rawhide bone. Any more suggestions on gifts for the doggies? (I'll have to hide them until xMas if I keep going ) |
| I just received gifts that I ordered for Oreo his birthday is the 10th and I got his Christmas stuff too. Right now he is playing with the box. He has the ICube it is a soft cube with holes in it and it comes with 4 soft squeaky balls and the dog has to put his snoot in the hole to get the ball out. One day I put extra balls in it he shook the cube to get the balls out. I got him the itell bone it is a plush bone with plush rings on it and he has to remove the rings the other one is a plush tree with small plush squirrels and he has to remove the squirrels. With this toy he will finally catch a squirrel. I got the stuff at BJwholesale.com I got another latex squeaky toy and some edible bones. |

I will put my two cents in on the ICube. Best toy I ever bought fo my puupy. He couldn't put id down. It went everywhere. Once he could get the balls out he would just sit there with it in his mouth and bite down. Squeak squeak squeak! His new fav is the medium size Cuz. It looks like a ball with feet on it. Comes in white (good) and red (devil, has little horns). I just think he loves it because he loves the sound. It is loud, and annoying, and I have no other option than to grab it from him and throw. |
