That little trouble maker!

Every morning we wake up at 7am, we go outside, come back in and get some breakfast, depending on if I work that day, or what time I have to be there, I will lay back down, some times for up to an hour. I will let her stay out of the crate, therefor she has the house to rule, (except for the 'cat room'!) Well this morning when I came back out, my living room floor was COVERED, you see, we just recently moved, and between working, and daily life, it is taking longer than I would like to get everything unpacked, and put in its place.... well, when I walk into the room, there is a shredded plastic bag. Dont ask me where she got that... I have no idea! buttons pulled from the pillow thing with arms my fiancee has, our cellphone contracts! and she found the "MuttMitt" bags I use to clean up after her during our walks.... spread all over the place, I bet there were 50 of them all over the room! She also got ahold of a cardboard box, and it too was SHREDDED all over the room, I walk into the kitchen, where she had got ahold of the chinese food we ate the night before, that I had forgot I placed on the floor by the trash in the big brown bag I carried it home in! Gladly I dont think she liked it as it was only a small mess, and the few left overs were still there!
And here we are... starting this wonderful experience together, we will call life.........HELP! HA HA HA

oh my 8O
How old is she?

if I lay back down mine stay in the room with me - door closed and they only ate a few pair of shoes when they were younger, now at 2.5 they are more likely to go back to sleep themselves.

Hope you weren't too late for work!
oh my; I'm so sorry, but I LOL'd at this...

my friends think I'm a bit over the top, keeping my dogs in site at all times, not letting them go unattended unless they are crated... but I don't want to find my home "covered" too!!!! I've watched them have a field day with a single roll of toilet tissue, I can only imagine the havok free reign would allow!
Cassie is about 8 months, and I feel silly bacause I left her out of the room, she is not allowed back in my room untill we get this house breakingthing, she PEED ALL OVER MY BED yesterday! So I shut the door behind me, I should have known better! And I was off work today, good thing cause it took a while to clean it up! I'll know better next time!
My Rufus is 8 months too... I had people to come view our house today and he was the NAUGHTIEST EVER  I think he doesn't want us to sell it!

I'm glad she is keeping you busy hehe!
Nigel is 10 1/2 months and I always crate him when I leave...been there, done that! :D
I know where you are coming from...it does get better. I still check on them if I'm in another room and their not with me - like every 15 min.
We are usually together all the time though and I love it that way, except for when I have to work.
Dutch is a little stinker when we are up and about but if I lay down she will come and lay down beside the bed and stay there till I get up, she is allowed on the bed but prefers the cool floor :D , Every sheepie has some saving graces about them and thats one of hers :phew: :D
Yeah but in time she'll just crawl into bed with you........in the mean time, assume she will get into EVERYTHING....and crawl onto EVERYTHING.
If the door is not shut properly, then oliver will wait till everyone asleep.
Then sneak into the bedroom, we will only know he is there when we get up and see those WHAT big brown eyes...

When olie was a babie and we were sheepie virgins,
we foolishly let him roam the house.
I walked back into a kitchen and sitting room full of shreded rubish,
our little boy was only young and still in NAPPIES!!!
We HAD a lovely CREAM sofa...
We were managing pubs at the time, we were down stairs in the bar for only around 45mins..
Yep, been there, done that. There is nothing more destructive than a bored sheepie. Well, maybe a spiteful sheepie (What? They left me ALONE??).
Well...many of us had played "Re-arranging furnitures" when we were kids and parents were not home... Its fun :excited:
I'm disappointed that you cleaned up the mess without taking pictures of her handiwork to share with us.

It's WAY funnier when you take time to take pictures with them sitting proudly in the midst of the mess with a big sheepie grin on their faces.

I would have posted pictures of the first mess she made if I could figure out this posting thing!!
Oh take the pictures!! We'll help you figure out how to post them, I assure you.
Wow, Cassie and Oliver would get along great!

Let's see:

toilet paper, 3 pairs of heels (only one shoe though), 1 pair of flip-flops (both), the TV stand, the kitchen table, more maginzines than I can count, wicker chair, computer mouse, mouse pad, TV, 2 remote controls, Christmas Tree (twice), DVDs, CDs, area rug, down feather pillow, dresser, Hubby's Christmas presents (off of kitchen table), (should I go on?)...

I can understand where you are coming from. All of this in the 4 short months we lived in an apartment. A bored/stressed sheepie is a recipe for disaster!
HAHA sounds like sheepie mischief to me. Yes we've been there done that too. Now Beau stays crated whenever we are not here to watch. I was cleaning the kids bathroom last weekend and chey came to me and told on him. He was getting ready to create havoc in the living room while my back was turned  Today I was sitting in church looked down at my heel on my sandle and realized it had the "mark of Beau" on it. Teeth marks sheesh nothing is sacred.
