My sheepie dogs beard is getting smelly-Any tips?

| Moisten her beard, rub in cornflour and leave in for about 10 - 15 mins then brush out, this should do the trick. |
| I use a few sprays of self rinsing shampoo, towel dry, apply cornstarch, then blowdry. The dirty smelly beard will be gone! |
| I have Chewie trained to lean over the tub. I place a rolled towel on the floor at the edge to catch any drips, and then pour glasses of water over his nose and chin (oh, I would love a handheld sprayer!) I use a dab of shampoo and scrub, then rinse. Then comes Chewie's favorite - we scrub and rub his whole face with the towel - he loves it!
Sometimes I just use some self rinse shampoo and a wet washcloth for a quick clean. Also combing through it with a finer toothed comb to get particles out will help with the smell too! |
