Line groom vs rake
I am so afraid of cutting off hair that should stay, or using the rake and taking too much hair out. As of right now she is matt free. Should I have her belly shaved down for summer? I do line groom Daisy about every other time. (It seems like less hair comes out when I use the comb vs the rake.) In between line grooming sessions I use a rake and brush front top to bottom (back to belly). Her coat is very thick. I want to preserve the integrity of her coat, until I show her to someone knowlegable about OES and who may think she has what it takes to compete in the show ring. What is the best way to maintain her coat on a regular basis so that she will be acceptable in the ring. Maybe I need pictures and a detailed description. Thanks. |
