Belle gave birth to 8 puppies; 2 females and 6 males and all are healthy and looking great! So excited...she was born on my Dad and sister's birthday! April 3rd will definitely be birthday party time each year! We have decided to name her "Maggie Mae" after my OES Daisy Mae who passed. I have told Rosie the news, she seemed excited or was it a reaction to my excited voice? We have been working on retraining Rosie from any bad habits...she is so sweet...she seems a little confused but does what we want her too...she's back to sleeping on her own bed on the floor but still will take the time to ask us each evening if she can sleep with us..once we tell her "No" she sweetly climbs onto her bed. I just want her ready for the end of May when we bring Maggie Mae home...don't want her to think we are treating her different when Maggie arrives. So excited!!! Spring has just gotten better...new life! Granddaughter is next...around May 9th! Will post picture when we receive one. |
