| mmmmmm, we were just in san fran. my DIL's treat. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton. The best, just perfect service, rooms, etc, etc
This is only if you have money to burn  or wish to splurge.
My DIL does, I do-not. I understand that there are great places to stay by Fisherman's Wharf. Have fun wherever you stay. I can however recommend a wonderful mid priced restaurant Capurros by the Wharf. sauteed spinach & shrimp to die for!!!! Wish I had some now! Bubba Gumps on the Wharf is fun, food is so-so. Love the gift shop. If you liked the movie Forest Gump a must see. |
| I've only been to San Francisco once and I LOVED IT!!! We stayed at the Presidio though (my hubby is army) and I don't think it's still open for that! Sorry - but have a great time!! |
| My dad and my wife and I enjoyed the Nob Hill Hotel in San Francisco.
They are SMALL rooms, nicely appointed. http://www.nobhillhotel.com/ Don't be fooled though, by "free wifi in the lobby"... the lobby has one settee if I recall. |
