| Yay! 1 week to go! Bailey will be there, and he's bringing Tim and I with him. |
We can't come. Bella's wound from her surgery still is pretty gross, and she doesn't get staples out 'till Friday. I guess we will have to plan for next year...or something closer in between.  |
| I still don't have a final count. I have a few people that are uncertain still.
I do know for sure that we definitely have at least 8 Sheepies. 
Randi (Shady) and Mike and their Sheepies, Maxx and Sammie will be here. Martini (Gigi)and her family and Clayden. You and Stella, Darcy and Panda, Sue, Tim and Bailey. Of course Pepsi and Rags will be here. 
You are very welcome to bring something. Drink would be great. Hubby willl be BBQing.

| Me too It is all Bella's fault. I am not even sure if this wound will be closed by Friday. She won't stop scratching at it.

Woo hoo!!! Today is the first day of SheepieFest of the West! 
Ok, so it doesn't actually start til this evening, but it's still today!! 
Rags and Lacey just got baths and are smelling sweet!
Pepsi will get bathed later. He will not be joining in the festivities today. 
This is due to the fact that it would be impossible for me to walk both dogs together and we are going to Palm Springs, the dog park first, then on to Downtown for some shopping and dinner. Pepsi gets nervous in the car, so I am bringing Ragsy with me. Tomorrow both Sheepies will be present for the dog park. Lacey will relax in the quiet house while the Sheepies are gone. I am sure she'll be very excited to see all of our visitors once we come back to the house. |
ill be leaving here about 8 am...that should put me at your house about 11 am....i may be earlier...if i cant sleep  |

Almost time to meet up at the dog park. I am so excited to get to meet the sheepies. I hope my Sheepie Imposer - Clayden will behave. I have told him if he misbehaves, I am going to take him home right away  |

| We met up at the dog park and the dogs had a great time.
Then on to dinner in Palm Springs with the dogs. We ate at the outdoor Cafe at the Hyatt. I was very pleasantly surprised with Rags behavior at the restaurant. At one point a motorcycle went by and Rags shot under the table. She was shaking like a leaf and sitting on Martini's feet. I found this very funny since her Daddy owns a Harley and I thought she would have been used to the noise. All the dogs at the restaurant, Clayden, Bailey and Rags were very well behaved.
Pepsi is very jealous, he is sniffing every inch of me and whining. Rags even got annoyed with all the sniffing he did of her. Poor guy thinks he missed out on all the fun.

| Elissa what great shots. All the sheepies and others look so great. I love the shots of Ryan leading the herd of sheepies. It looked like all the sheepies are having fun.
Boy, has Clayden ever grown up to being a beautiful sheepie mix. Great job with him Gigi. I have a request for those who are posting pics of the festivities: Could you please post in your captions who is in the pics? Many of the pics the sheepies look very much alike and it would be great to beable to put names with faces. Thank you to everyone who does plan on sharing their pics. Have a good time today!!! |

| Well, we made it back in one piece!!! Not bad timing too! Left here at 8 am and got to Palm Springs at 11:30...played, ate, talked....left at 5(im counting after we got gas) and i was in my house after dropping Dominika off at 8:30....
Panda ate her dinner super slow....took a potty...and crashed for the whole night....lol...she was tired. It was a wonderful (long) day and im glad that i didnt miss it.... Elissa and Billy, thank you for a wonderful lunch! Billy is soo hired as my bbq man!! you are both gracious hosts!! ps...i am sooo starting that green tea diet!! xoox |

Thanks Violet. Clayden was in cloud 9 being in the sheepie crew. We are so grateful to be accepted with open arms even though he is not a real OES. My husband looked at Elissa's group picture and teased me saying that if I thought I could get by having Clayden to impose as an OES, I could possibly get by bringing a black and white long hair cat for next SheepieFest of the West" Looking at the group pic, I have to admit that does look like a desperate attempt to join an OES group...  but I don't care, I love you guys! |

Loved finally meeting everyone- it was a great day! It was also wonderful to see all the sheepies come to life- after seeing them in photos for so long- actually meeting them and seeing their personalities was just great. They are all loving, funny, playful and just beautiful. |
| Sounds like a splendid time was had by all. I was looking at the pics in the other forum, and the one of Mark and Ryan bonding really is precious. |
