Yes..Yes I know what you're thinking. Aren't you worried about having such a large dog door leading into your house so a burgler can fit through? Readers Digest once had a little clip about that...said if a burgler is stupid enough to fit through the door..imagine the big dog on the other side of the door waiting for him! In my case 3. I'll post it on the door in case I get any stupid burglers. Remind them if the dog door is so big..imagine what's on the other side! Ha Ha! |

I am so jealous of your Craigslist... I never find anything that exciting around here. Must be all the frugal Norwegians and Germans around here! |
Awesome!! |
Hi and congrats to the door, I would post the folowing sign, "Forget the dog beware of the owner grr" |
Nothing beats the thrill of a great deal, even when it's something you don't want/need |

You are the best shopper I know Marianne! |
LOL I must admit I'm a Craig's List addict - thanks to all those wonderful people that gave me all those building supplies last summer.
This week (since I'm off for Spring Break) I got the door, bistro table with two chairs for $15, and tomorrow I'm picking up a double wide custom made Kitty condo for FREE! I also had a response to purchase 200 sq feet of brand new unopened laminate but it was not the color I desired. Yes, even CL shoppers can be picky as I mentioned in my area there are thousands of listings. I think what happens it people often purchase stuff with hopes of one day installing it or order the wrong sizes. Leave it too late and don't return it and then sell it at a fraction of the cost. The door turned out to be $10 dollars and change as I forgot the $20 dollar bill at home and it was most embaressing. Digging in my pockets so the fellow just said "don't worry just give me what you have". LOL. Now with a new door - I just had to paint the entire downstairs- bathroom and hallway and install new lino down there. I've learned how to be a pro at installing laminate, commercial tile, crown molding, installing sinks and toilets, laying down bricks, fixing gutters, and umpteenth other projects. The money I save goes to help all those throwaway animals which I've been able to adopt and make the entire home pet friendly. Cat doors/dog doors and flooring just for my furkids. Two more rooms to go and I've now gutted and fixed the entire house on my own. It's taken me 5 years. Marianne |
