Wish my boys luck please!!
Marty and Murphy are headed to Raleigh, NC this weekend for 3 days of Rally Excellent competition. This is a big show and Murphy can get nervous in crowds (well, Marty can too) so, they could use alot of positive thoughts!!!

| Well, today didn't go over so well....BUT tomorrow is a new day!
This morning Marty woke up late, got stuck in traffic and poor Murph had to go from the road straight to the ring! I was thinking as they rushed out the door Murphy didnt get his morning run in the yard to do his business..... Can you guess where this is leading???? Yep, half way through the run Murphy couldn't hold it anymore....he pooped right in the middle of the ring 
The judge said "He's Done" Marty came back with "He's not done yet!" At least he had a sense of humor about it!!! Thanks for all your positive cheers! They'll do us proud the next two days!

I'm not worried. Isn't this Marty's MO - mess the dog up the first day, make it up to him the rest of the weekend? (And isn't that where Murphy's Law comes from???  )

Can't wait for Marty to see that when he gets home, he'll love it!!! We have learned that training sheepies takes a good sense of humor sometimes! I already read Kristine's to him last night, as you got it from Marty's mouth----yep he said it "Murphy's Law" Today he took Murphy for a long walk before going in (Murphy took care of business!) It was a pretty tough judge, there were 8 dogs competing and only 3 qualified..... Murphy placed third!!!!! Tomorrow they may be the only ones there since it is Easter.... So, maybe they'll get first!!LOL Thanks Kathy |

The most important thing is they are having fun!!! They went to a sheepie birthday party yesterday! Jim and Grace's girl is a year old and Murph got to play with Cruiser too! I am proud of my boys! I hope they can go to Nationals this year so he can meet you all! (we will bring in Murphy's Auntie Nancy too!) Hugs Kathy |

Okay while pooping in the ring is not the best thing that could happen at least you're now provided with a few chuckles and laughter when you remember that day. Doncha just envy the utter content dogs have with their bodies sometimes? No embaressments, no humilations..unlike their human counterparts.LOL! Wow 3rd that's wonderful!!!!! Congratulations!!! After just getting our RA this month, we are gearing up to go for RE too. I need to check the show schedule out and see what the options are. And a CD with Simon - he will be 9 next month, so I better not wait too long.  Busy, busy, busy! |
