Happy 35th birthday, Tanya! My birthday was yesterday, but I turned a tad older than 35.  Oh well - it's beats the alternative!!

I had a great birthday, I got to sleep in, which is heaven! My kids each got me a cashmere sweater, and they are sooooo soft! My dad got me a beautiful anitique oak hall tree for our foyer. AND, my wonderful husband got me just what I asked for....a tree frog! When he picked up Joey from pre k, they went to petsmart and got the manager to help him pick out the entire setup for .......FRIBBET! LOL, yes I named him, it fits very well. He is a Whites tree frog, AKA, smiling frog, AKA Dumpy Tree frog. He has his own tree and water fall in his 20 gallon aquarium. Do I have a wonderful husband or what? Then my Mom, Grandma, and stepdad took us to Charleston's for dinner, and I got a huge ice cream sundae! SOOO, yes it has been a great day. I will post pics of my herpetarium soon and Fribbit, and then I need to show you pics of Ashlan's recital and I am sure there are some of you who would like to see how big the kittens have got. SO, when I get some time..and energy I will get them posted.
Thank you all for my well wishes! It meant a lot! I hope the rest of you that did have a birthday and have one coming up have a great day! Oh, and there were 27 candles on my cake this year.

| We have a bunch of November birthdays on this forum. Check under General Chit Chat, bottom of page 2 (or if someone posts a new subject, top of page 3), "Has anyone started Christmas shopping yet?" On page 2 we start talking about birthdays and I posted the dates of everyone's birthday that answered those posts. Even had a few anniversaries on it.
Stormi - hope you had a happy birthday! Mine was great. Had a wonderful dinner out with my family (always better than cooking!). My daughter gave me the cutest sitting, singing sheepdog dressed for Christmas! It sings 2 songs by pressing on its paw. Said she found it at Wal-Mart, in case anyone's interested. My son gave me a bunch of comedy DVDs and the newest Trans Siberian Orchestra Christmas CD - The Lost Christmas Eve - their best one yet. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, regardless of age. They are truly talented story tellers. We saw them in Newark, NJ last year after Christmas. There were people of all ages there, and we were totally blown away by their show. 27??? You just turned 27??? I'm getting too old - we just passed our 29th wedding anniversary. But you know, having been through everything we've been through, having raised our kids, knowing now what we didn't know then, I don't think I'd want to go back just for the sake of being young again. It has been a great life up to now, and we've learned many things about many things over our many years together, and for all that, we are truly grateful. Chris |

Whew as it's almost the end of the month I'm getting this in at the last min..apologies for being late with my "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREETINGS!!!!". Drezzie's mom...oh those singing sheepdogs was a hit at the dog park!!! I bought one about a month ago and took it with me on our outing one day to the park. Silly sight it was...3 dogs on one side of the fence..up on hind legs...sniffing at the singing dog. Brought it home..Panda kept tilting his head....Merlin took off running out of the kitchen...scared him! Ended up buying 3 more as gifts..you guys should treat yourself at get one for your birthdays!!! I hope everyone had a good birthday! Marianne |
