Well, I ordered some. We'll see how it goes. I'm sure Duds will like 'em a lot better than dripping that nasty stuff on the back of his neck once a month. ~Katie. |
I've heard if you put garlic in their food that helps not have fleas. Of course you'll have a dog with stinky breath though. |
Garlic is good! Not a smell I mind too much... |
What about the tick prevention that Frontline provides? I'm more worried about ticks than fleas. |
I use BioSpot on Drez, at the recommendation of a friend who owns 5 dogs. According to the ads, BioSpot not only controls fleas and ticks, it also is the only one that will control mosquitoes. Seems to work well.

I started out with Bio-Spot, and I wasn't sure that it actually worked for Duds because I picked 3 crawling ticks off him when we used that one. I guess they'd just gotten on him so I got them off in time. I've *really* been skeeved out by putting hte Frontline on him lately, so something different that works would be really cool. I don't like not being able to pet me dog for 24 hours after I put the stuff on. It makes the section of hair on the back of his neck really yukky. ~Katie. |
