| I don't like that you can't see any of the songs on it. I like to go through and search for music so not having titles is major turnoff.
Other than that, all you have to do is download iTunes and put your music in there. It's super easy to get the music on to the iPod from there because it shows up like a device. You just drag and drop. You can load your cds into iTunes and do the same thing. Very simple! |
| Yeah, when you buy the iPod it comes with software that you just download onto your computer and you're all set! Super easy.
But, I agree with Jill. I don't like that you can't see what's being played since there's no screen. My iPod was stolen last fall so my dad gave me his shuffle, but I haven't used it because I don't like not seeing what's on. |
| My kids have one same thing they do not like the fact they can not see what is coming up. They also down load from limewire.. I do not like that it seems to slow down the computer... they put it on theirs. Limewire is free. |

| I'd go with the iPod Nano. You get plenty of space for lots of songs and you can see all the titles and choose what you want to hear. And it's not as big as the regular iPod, so it's still pretty small. I'm asking for one for my bday. |
| My daughter Lisa in NY has the shuffle. She really debated which style to get for Christmas. She ended up with the shuffle. She is not at all a techno girl, and she could load music easy.
She wants hers for music at the gym and on the plane and trains while traveling. She is fine without looking at the titles - because when she uses it most, she isn't looking at it anyway! She just loads her favorite songs and lets them all play! She also sent it through the laundry with her gym clothes, and they replaced it for free.   |
| Yup, the Nano is a great. Super lightweight and you can see all your song titles. I use mine a lot. I have a full size iPod, too but I use the Nano a lot more. |

I have no idea, but Steve won an iPod shuffle a few weeks ago at Dominick's. They started ringing him up and then announced on the loud speaker that he had won it. It's very cute  |

My biggest problem is that I didn't want to spend a lot for the data plan every month so if I can find a reasonable plan, I think I will. It will complete the circle. |
| Is the Iphone only available through AT&T still or are other companies carrying it? |
| Right now it's still AT&T. I have no preference in phone company though. They're all about the same for me. |
| Why is it taking so long for other companies to get it? It seems odd that the price has dropped for them yet the technology is still proprietary to one stupid company! |

| I love my shuffle. I have had it over a year and I just skip songs when I don't feel like listening to it. I mostly use it at the gym though. I delete and reload songs periodically too. There is less to go wrong with this one...my daughter always had trouble turning her old nano off. She has a classic video ipod now. |
| Paula thank you for asking about this! I have decided I want "something" now and haven't a clue. Of course the boys next door say to get this and that and I haven't a clue what they are talking about. Now I know how my parents felt when DVR's and DVD's came out! lol....... oh my.....
This past week when passing thru DFW airport on my way to the warm water (sigh i had to come back home), I went in to one store and started asking questions.......... NOW they are telling me to look into something called a ZUME or ZOOM or something new like that....... so I am back to looking again............ ALi |
| Ali, I think that's a Zoon. My friend says her husband has one. Don't know who it's made by.
The Shuffle is about $50 which isn't much, but I also want a digital camera (very low end, like $100-$150) and I won't buy 2 toys at once. Decisions, decisions..... |
