| I'll bet Susan will have some recommendations if there's anything good out there. I belong to a couple of livestock guard dog forums and they're really inactive groups. People who actually use their dogs for work don't seem to be as chatty, lol. |

I'm asking for a friend with a kind heart who has adopted two of the Great Whites. He might be interested in starting one. I think he's tired of reading OES.org to find fabulous information that he can convert from Sheepie to Pyr. |
| Have him search Yahoo groups just to get started. Sometimes you find that it's a lame group but another member will link you to another better one. |

| we have a pyr, he is a little over 1 year old. I started to look for another forum just for Pry's but i never could find one that was on the same level as OES.
So you should do all the research and then tell me about it so i can piggyback off of all your hard work???? Sound like a goood idea?

| Actually Yahoo! Groups has 5 Pyr groups:
Great-Pyrenees, great_pyrenees, workingLGD, PyrTalk, and Pyrspectives. I haven't been on any of them for over a year or more.....too much going on here. I know I tired of one as one person seemed to dominate and she became rather tiresome. Pyr friend in Taos does send me stuff from workingLGD once in awhile, so maybe that's one. Best to check their monthly chat chart to get an idea how much is going on. If several hundred chats a month, then a pretty active group. s. |
