Mars Cheese Castle
Here are some pictures of Mar's Cheese Castle: "Mars Cheese Castle (and Gallery of Art)" in Kenosha Wisconsin. It's right over the line on I-94. (On the Southbound side.) 
Mars Cheese Castle's really boring website. It really is "and Gallery of Art". Look at the very very bottom of this picture. You really can't read it, but trust me! It says: "Gallery of Art"! 
One time when we rented a motorhome for a trip, we were headed west. We decided a good goal for the two-week trip would be to "stop by Wisconsin, and pick up some cheese." We wound up at "Mars Cheese Castle (and Gallery of Art)". Perfect. Schlock art at its "finest", good cheese, though. Nice 4 year old cheddar. Yum. Turns out it isn't from Mars! The place is shaped like a castle, and the owner's name is Mario or "Mar" for short., so I supposed it should be "Mar's Cheese Castle". Maybe the sign company couldn't do apostrophes? |

AGH! I've been there! My parents grew up in Kenosha and grandma is still there. She lugs a little coleman cooler full of cheddar from Mars with her on the plane when she comes to visit!  |
