I'm looking to buy one large and one small dog bed, and thought I'd share this site. http://www.perfectdogbeds.com/ |

georgeous, but at $300 a bed times three or four (watch for an anouncement later this year) I will never be able to afford the matching throws and I am afraid the crew would feel slighted |
Hmmm....a little smaller than what Izzie is used to
She likes beds King sized |
For beds, you can't beat anything made out of Crypton fabric. You can't stain it-- you can pour tea right on it and it rolls right off but the fabric doesn't feel like you'd expect stain resistant fabric to feel. They're also very resistant to stink. Since the dogs like to use all the pillows on the couch, all of those are Crypton, too. They last a long time and stay looking great. One of the beds I've had for almost 4 years now. It gets used all the time (Clyde even likes to use it exclusively just to eat his treats on) and the white background is just as white as when it was new. (And, no, I receive nothing for this endorsement!)

Oh my gosh, that is so cool. I'd buy a couch from them if I could see it in person first. That is amazing if it really doesn't stain ........esp w/kids who get sick and vomit and doo doo on them all the time. We're in the market for one, but for the past 2 years have not found a single one we BOTH liked in the limited stores here. We can't wait to find one b/c this one is falling apart (literally). |
Yipes, those are more expensive than the first. Alas, they'll have to settle for the old beds on the front porch (old 52 inch LLbeans) for day beds and the Select Comfort inside for night beds. |
You all should be ashamed of restricting you babbies to a big pillow on the floor. My insist that they can not sleep on anything smaller than a queen bed. That is if I lie along the edge and don't move much. Other wise it is on top of me. Annie perfers to use my memory foam pillow than her cheap down pillow. |
Just wanted to say my maltese's bed came in and she loves hers. Still having trouble deciding on which one Yuki will love (thinking of the company/link butters posted)
...and as far as restricting our pups from the bed ...well, my maltese has her own staircase to come up and down, BUT we decided Yuki can't come up, SO.............. this means my maltese can't (despite the 6 yrs she has slept there) Yuki will JUMP off when a cat runs and there is NOTHING we can do to stop it, and that's not good for her joints, so no more. What stinks is... my husband argued that it's the same distance for my maltese to always jump off the couch, so no one is allowed on there either. The quality is excellent and it can be washed which is always a plus! |

I agree, this is our sleeping arrangement at home but when Chauncey goes to the farm ( kennel ) the large bed would be great. It's only $2.00 more than the local LL Bean outlet and it goes to charity. Not that the farm is below Chaunce's standards. The floors are heated for arthritic dogs, the building is air conditioned, they have pools, 1/4 acre play areas based on size and social skills, they place umbrella's throughtout the complex for shade. We do living histories, Civil War and French and Indian 8-9 months a year so Chaunce is there at least monthly.....he loves it...... |
I would love to get the mammoth bed...but $200.00. Even for charity I can't spend that kind of money now...nice beds though. |
