Well, my son always watches the guy do this through the window. HE LOVES TRACTORS. He waved for my husband and him to come over and said he had 4 kids at home, so when he saw my son watching every day ....he knew he had to give him a chance to ride in one. So, my son got to help him clean up the street in this enormous thing. Normally we wouldn't hand our son off to someone in a moving device but we figured he can't run off with him too far in a 20 ft high tractor. I can't imagine the good dreams my son had last night I took some pics, but it was through a window, so they all didn't come out. see... can't see a thing |

That reminded me of my daughter when she was 2. We had a quy leveling out our yard with her watching rom the house and offer her a ride. When she got out side she ran into the house crying the noise scared the #$%# out of her. |
Well I can't lie... lil J was scared crapless. Mostly of the strange guy in the tractor with him though. You can't see his tears from the pic I posted, lol ...but I swear he was still so happy to be on a tractor. |
What fun! |
LOL - that is great!
One of my college roommates lives in Iowa. She and her husband are big pig and crop farmers, her husband Bob trucks on the side. Bob was in our area, and showed up in our yard with his big semi. Bob gave the girls a ride - they were 4 or 5 at the time. They weren't too scared, as Todd rode with too. I wish I would have gotten pictures! It will be interesting to see what lil J's memories of this one are! |
If he wants to see "huge" tractors take him to a coal mine. They're enormous! Glad he got to ride!
