Is my Dog okay?

My dog has what I think is seperation problems but whenever someone who visits leaves the car or my house my dog growls and chases after them he tries to bite their ankles. If they are leaving the car he tries to jump out of the car. He's only 8 pounds so hes not very scary but is there anything i can do saying no does not do anything he is already 2 years old.
