| This is so sad. My father died of pancreatic cancer.
I hope they caught Swayze's in a much earlier stage, as they have been saying. My dad was in and out of the hospital for weeks before they finally were able to diagnose it. My father often had kidney stones and that interfered with diagnosis. He died exactly one month after his diagnosis, as did Michael Landon. I hope the treatment has improved dramatically since then.
