An exciting day!
We are excited for Ashlan, our 7 year old. She has her 1st piano recital tonight. She has been playing for almost a 16 months. She has a new dress and new shoes for her recital. I have the camera and camcorder charged and ready! There are 40 students along with Ashlan playing in front of family tonight. There should be a full house! She played last year in her school talent show and did great in front of students, teachers, and parents. She has been practicing her curtsy all week, and feels like a princess having a real reason to curtsy. LOL I will tell you how it went and post pictures when I get a chance. Stormi and co. |

Ah, yes! Piano recitals! I remember them well. Our daughter took lessons for 10 years. We used to really look forward to the recitals. Enjoy them while they're young! They grow WAY too fast!! And when they grow up and go off to college, you'll be amazed at how much you miss their "music", in more ways than one! Chris |
