???? qauding??? this must be a Canadian term! |
Yeah, that one confused me, too, Dawn. What does it mean? |
Looks to be what is known as 4-wheeling here, yes?:

Oh - Quad - the typo must have got me! I was trying to figure out Qaud....oops
Yes 4 wheeling (or ATV) in the US . Quading does seem to be a shorter word. For the question - I would say a definite NO. We lost our 1st OES Ollie in an accident with my husband and our snowmobile. They would go out and run - Todd, Ollie and the 2 labs. They always had a great time and run. But, this one day Todd was on the way back home and moved over so the dogs could have the path to run on (deep snow) and Ollie saw the move the snowmobile made. He darted over to cut the snowmobile off and Todd hit him. Ollie was a herding boy, and had 2 herding titles. He ended up dying a few hours later from internal injuries. No more 4 wheeler or snowmobile sports with the dogs at our house anymore. |
That is what I was wondering about the herding part.... quads are not as fast as snowmoble (at least with me driving) My dad takes his schauzers out and does fine. BUT I was worried about them running in front to try and stop you. Dax had his out last year with us walking we were able to keep an eye on Sami and Dax a far ahead of us. But we all have one this year but they may have to stay home... herding, coyotes chasing deer.... always worry they would take off on me. |
