Mickey - before and after
Here's Mickey before following his rescue from an abandoned car in a junkyard - Jody a wonderful woman was responsible for his rescue. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wj3uNrRHTiw I met her in Nov when she turned over Mickey to me - his forever mom Now four months later and five pounds heavier. Mickey says thanks to all the wonderful notes he recieved cheering him on. 
What a difference "having someone care" makes.

He's such an awesome cat and continues to be as loving as he was in the vid! The most amazing thing happened today!! I recently posted and titled it(memory lane) about an apartment my son was wanting to purchase. The apartment just happened to be located behind my first apartment I lived in at age 19 and across the street from another place where his dad lived as a kid. Seemed meant to be. Sadly the first day it had an offer and so my son was dissapointed. Last night, recieved a call that the other offer fell through and would my son be interested in bidding on it? Yes!!! Bare with me as the memory lane post and this Mickey post do have connections. Well visited the place again today and this time met the tenants who had a wonderful aged cat. Both tenants started talking about this cat and about rescue cats. The conversation then became surreal as the guy mentioned a touching story - One Eyed Mickey from You Tube!!!!! They both had seen the vid! I said I have that cat!! Another quirky event regarding that apartment. So another long winded story from me..but quess all the signs were there that my son should have this place. Marianne |

Wow Marianne, what a difference! I like the comment on the YouTube page on how he went from 5 lbs to 10 lbs.  Couldn't be in a better home....
