posting pics
 Im dying to post pics of my buddies.but i have NO clue how too.This week end we are going to Madison and Im going to take lots of pics and put them on a cd and download them on my computer.My question is,is there anyone I can email my pic too and have them post it for me? | Ron has instructions on the pictures page. I have not tried, it took me 6 months to get my Avatar, so I don't think I can be much help on this topic. |
| Oh it took me forever, and I read the directions a million times. I hate to admit that.
Ok I will try to explain it in computer illiterate terms... Just click here: ftp://www.oes.org/incoming it will open a new window that looks like a windows folder. Ok move that box to the side, and then go to the folder that has your pictures, click and drag the picture that you want to upload to the box you just moved to the side, the file name will copy. Do this to every picture you want to up load. Just "X" the box when you're through putting in pictures. When this is done, go to the forum and post the filenames, which is basically the name of the picture. For example: TanyaBuddy.jpg Make sure you put all of the file names of the pictures that you copied in your post. It might take a while until the pictures show up, but they will, right where the filenmaes are put. So just include captions like the pictures are there. And voila! Picture Magic! Hope everything works out. If not, I highly recommend you uploading them to photobucket.com Then you can have a photo album that you can share with everyone. It tells you exactly how to link each picture on here and makes the link for you and everything. |
