How in the heck do I change the pixel size
How do I easily change the darn pixel size from a downloaded picture?????  |

| The easiest way is to use the oes.org photo gallery. Upload your fullsize pics, and it will automatically generate a thumbnail of the correct size for use as an avatar. |

Ok-- stupid I know.. but how do I get it from the thumbnail to the Avatar. When I copy the area in red and post it to uplaod- it says it must be a jpeg etc. |

Go into "my photos", right click on the thumbnail you want. Go to properties and highlight the address (URL). Copy/paste it into the bottom of the profile page - in the URL space, below "browse". Good luck  |

You need to paste it in the URL area It says this: Upload Avatar from a URL: Enter the URL address there. |
I did that and I still get a message telling me the size is wrong!  There is something I'm not doing right. |

You need to right click on the thumbnail in your gallery, (do not open the actual picture.) Then click on properties. Triple click on the URL until it is highlighted in blue. Then go back to the profile page and paste in the URL You can do this by clicking in the area Upload Avatar from a URL: Right click, then click paste. Submit and you are done. |

Umm... I'm having problems with this too, it's telling me the file must be jpg etc. I followed all the instructions  right clicked on the pic in the thumbnail page & tried to copy & paste the address. Even tried with the little pic below the main pic with the filmstrip but it's not working  |
| You're clicking on the regular sized photo, Cassie. Try clicking on your "My photos" at the top of the page, then choose the photo you want for your avatar from there. Right click on it and go to Properties from there. |
| I'm SUCH an idiot!! I was tyring to paste the ADDRESS into the thing, instead of the LOCATION. What a dunce. I never have been great with all this technology lol |
