transportation possibility
i have a friend who owns a courier company. he owns 12 jets which often fly not fully loaded. he's a nice guy and i could ask him if he would be interested in helping out. i cant say it would be free but, hell, it might be if we can eliminate any hassle for him. i am semi retired and wouldnt mind being the liason in this effort. let me know. |

Wow! It sounds like a very interesting possibility. 
A lot would depend on the fees... I'd think some rescues might also be interested in at least learning the details. Can you post an example of fees or areas he frequently travels? "FREE" would make it a wonderful opportunity for rescues  ... but some fee would probably be most fair. |

i will have to call him with his routes. i would hope that he would do this as a favor if its no more than loading the dog on the plane and off loading on the other end and assuming it is only an occasional thing... which i would think it would be. |
| I would think the biggest issue to him would be liability. Unless his present insurance would cover damage to the dog, he would need some protection, even though parties to the transfer waived liability. |
