This maybe crazy, but will you please ask your wife if she would maybe take the pic she painted of Lennon and have it made into a cross stitch pattern?? It is so beautiful and I've been looking for a nice sheepdog pattern. It would look very good with all the colors she has used and maybe put it on a very lite purple material. The bigger the better ( like a 12 x 12 or even larger ). Then you could also sale it on your web site. Any other cross stitchers think this is a good idea??? |

You mean the flying dog? Yes, it would be a great cross stitch. |
No I mean the big sheepdog face. Or even both of them really!!!! The face is just so cute, just like your own sheepie is looking at you with those huge friendly eyes and big black nose.
Anyway I hope maybe she will think about it. Bye |
Humm... That's a very interesitng idea. How do you make a cross stitch pattern? |
I know that there are computer programs that will do this... Other than that, you would have to break a picture down into small boxes(this is where the "x" of the cross stitch goes), and assign each color in the picture to a thread color. I've never done one by hand- maybe someone has a better/easier way of doing this, or knows of a freeware cross stich program?

Good luck! I think it would be a great pattern! |
Hi Saulmr
My sister has a program to do it. I know the program was very expensive so I'm not sure if you can just go down load one. All she needs is the picture. You can send me a personal message if you would like me to do that for you. Trade you for a Got Food T-shirt Della |
One program to do this is called PC Stitch. I'm not sure of the cost, my aunt brought me a copy of it. |
