Hey! There are Sunny and Luca, third down, behind Jere. They didn't show as much of the judging as they did last year for some reason, but it was still great to be able to watch. http://www.westminsterkennelclub.org/20 ... index.html Scroll down to find OES. Watched groups last night. Idiot Che had a barking fit while watching the terriers??? He is an avid TV watcher who goes nuts for a number of reasons, but none of the other groups moved him, not even herding. Or maybe he was tired of barking by then? Kristine |
Hey! There are Sunny and Luca, third down, behind Jere.
I thought she looked familiar, I've seen her picture here |
Good pixs.
The links have changed both pixs are now the previous picture/slide. |
Ok...I just watched the video. Question...silly, maybe...Do you think that people who aren't familiar with OES see these dogs and think all sheepies always look like that? They are really gorgeous, but even on his best groomed day, Pirate NEVER has looked like that! |

They are really gorgeous, but even on his best groomed day, Pirate NEVER has looked like that! Did you? The first time you saw them? I never saw a well-groomed one before I dragged my first OES home out of a cow barn. Smelled to high heaven. Six months old. The bigger surprise to me when I saw my first show was that you CAN get them that clean. Actually, come mud season, that STILL surprises me Kristine |
The first one I ever saw, was the sheepdog in the orginal Shaggy Dog movie...and he was pretty scruffy...and adorable! |
They're all beautiful and so fluffy. The corgis are pretty cute too. Only one with the same coloring as Popcorn though. |
Gail!! How in the world are you?? So nice to see you here again!! |
Hi Gail! How are the little guys? Although probably not so little anymore |
I uploaded a bunch of photos from yesterday that are now in the gallery:
http://photos.oes.org/thumbnails.php?album=46 ...I knew Sunny looked familiar. I should have introduced myself... This is my favorite photo. Mr PINK Brush. |
ROFL!
Lots of people give their dogs a brush to chew while being groomed! It looks like Smokin' returned the favor! Great pics! THANK YOU!!! |
Thanks for all the great pictures! |
Thanks for uploading these great pics! |
I love that picture! |
Those original links must have changed - not OES on there now!
Thanks VerveUp for the great pictures and posting them for us to see. I am sitting here, with my boy in half a coat, wondering if he will ever look like that again!!!!! OK, the farting isn't helping the image either.... Phheewww! (and eyes crossed too!) |

Life has been BUSY! lol I've been popping in as a guest on occasion, but I hardly have a chance to post. The boys are doing great. Can you believe my youngest turned 5 a few weeks ago? That still seems unreal to me. They're keeping us very busy since they want involved in every activity there is. We're always having to go someplace. We had a tornado come through town last month. You may have seen the images of the school bus being thrown on top of the school building? That was Jake's school (the high school portion - the buildings are together on one campus) and right across the street from our house. It was such a scary day. The tornado hit the school, jumped over our house (thankfully), and then destroyed the church on the other side of us. Since a lot of the town had damage, we're still helping out with that too. The animals are doing really well too. Brees and Popcorn are pretty much inseparable now, and the two of them can find lots of ways to get into trouble. It's funny watching the two of them together. Me & Jason are really good too. Jason finally gets his degree come May. It's been about 10 years in the making - taking classes between deployments, his work schedule, etc... so I'm proud of him. He leaves next week for a deployment, but his last class is online so he shouldn't have any problems finishing. I'll try to stop by more often. I think life will probably get busier with Jason leaving, but Jake has spring break soon and then he'll be out for the summer so hopefully we can have more time at home after that. I hope everyone here is doing okay too! |
Gail, its so nice to see you back here! Sit down awhile, and have a cup of coffee with us! |

They are really gorgeous, but even on his best groomed day, Pirate NEVER has looked like that! I think in this country people think of OES as the Dulux dog so will think that sheepies do look like that all of the time. I did as the dog that was the mummy of the dulux dog lived in our street and she was always groomed beautifully! |
Hey Nita, check out this video! Your Bouvier gets interviewed. (It's the Johnson's white boy)

That's a great video! I haven't seen a white Bouvier before now. Cool. |
Wow, he does look white in the video. He's actually fawn colored. You can see it better in this pic of Nita squishing him.
