my mom may never leave town again
 David will drive through anything .... my mom words i'll spring for a hotel, half way home. Talked to them on and off thank god for cell phones. My daughter slept through most of it. My son would not go to bed until dad was home... how sweet huh... nope he wanted KFC before bed.  Yes, yes ,we are weird only fast food we have here is SUBWAY. David always phones and asks what do you want me to bring....in the winter it is wellllll. everthing  Lots of cars in the ditch everywhere. On the last 1 1/2 hours the road only goes to our town and there was a crash with cops and all Darion said the only thing the could make out was a bumper, real bad, we have not heard anything yet. My mom now was sick to her stomach glad they stopped for chicken and again saying she will spring for a room. It was weird to be the safe one at home, usually it is the other way around. David gets home and I asked him so how were the roads. "not bad unless someone passing then you can not see" and went to bed. |

 Yikes!  I've been caught on the highway between Calgary and Edmonton in bad weather: not nice!  Glad everyone's safe. |

| Phew! I really don't know which is worse, to be in it or to be home worrying about it. White-outs, strong winds, ice...the worst! I can't remember the times I've put my car's nose up against an 18 wheeler and said, "If he goes over the edge, so am I...." |
| we just heard of another crash going to grande prairie also last nite and there were deaths but not sure which way. |
