| I saw this on the news. The shooter's mother is saying this is an "act of God like a wind storm", because it had been gathering for so long, and "they kept writing him tickets for everything." They should keep firearms away from that lady.

Yes, 5 people were killed in this incident. It happened at a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park, IL strip mall. Unbelievable. |

I would like to see how the government could promote strict gun control. It's not the guns that kill people, it's the people that kill people. Even if citizens were not allowed guns, people would find some other means to kill, be it bombs, knives, or the most likley, illegal guns. JMO |
| Like many on the forum, we live in a small - close community, and the thought of this happening is hard to fathem. Our prayers go out to everyone. Just such a tragedy. |
