Thick toenails
So I just wanted to let anybody with this problem know about this wonderful solution I found. They are called SOFTPAWS. They're these little rubber caps that go over the nails. I discovered these quite by accident. My neighbor had them on her cat, because she didn't whant to have him declawed. So at the vet's office one day, I said I sure wish they made those softpaws for dogs as big as Max. And believe it or not Max left the office that day wearing them. I don't know if anybody has this problem or not. But these things are great. no more accidental scratches or tears in the leather furniture.
