Hi, Gertie. The closest thing OH has to a sheepdog club is the Western Reserve Old English Sheepdog Club, which is a collection of (mostly) breeders and exhibitors from Ohio and Michigan. If you're looking for something less formal and closer to home, you may have to start your own group

We're in southeastern Indiana, less than an hour from Cincinnati. There are OES people near you in Hamilton and Milford, OH. Some of us drive all over to attend OES gatherings so don't let distance keep you from meeting with other Sheepdog lovers!

| Just to let everyone know that the St. Louis Old English Sheepdog Club has an Associate Membership for anyone who lives more than an hour outside of the St. Louis area. The annual dues are $5 and this entitles you to the quarterly newsletters plus an invitation to Sheepiepalooza.
Please consider that we are centrally located and welcome Sheepie owners to join us for any of our events. Our city is quite pet friendly and there is fair amount to do here for any one wanting to make the drive. No, we set them yearly. But I did mention in my post that Associate dues are $5. Regular membership is $15 annually. Checks can be made payable to St. Louis OES Club Did I forget anything else? I am a little blonde these days.  |

| The MI forum members have a picnic every summer, we aren't formal and everyone is welcome to come. Nita and Nelson attend, last year we had people from Chicago and Canada. Just watch for posts in the general chat section and jump right in! |

Of course, the more the merrier! Still lots of snow and cold here so it's a bit early yet but the first hint of spring we will set a date and post all the info. The Ontario members are also planning something for June you may be interested in, when you read the posts you'll see we just invite ourselves  |
