Sharing the love...

We do fostering for rescue at our house, so Bosley and Dixie are well versed in doggy language and totally used to having the odd stranger dog around for a bit.

Here are the latest:
We have this adorable sheltie for the next week or so, until he is placed or his foster mom comes back from a 10 day trip to New Orleans to help out rescue groups down there. We were told that he is very active, and needs 2 hours of hiking activity etc every day. Well, he looks like he can very easily become a couch potatoe like my two fellows:

Then there is the most recent rescue dog, picked up today, and he is so stressed he is crying non-stop..poor baby..Dixie is afraid of him, because he is so small... ..and the sheltie is trying so hard to get him to play, but he is having nothing to do with it.

He is not neutered, and so stressed that he is marking everywhere...poor baby...Tomorrow he is off to a breed rescue where he can get all his vet care done...Being a puppy mill dog he has plenty of issues...

But I am so proud of both my pooches. They are being very generous with sharing thier humans, and trying to make the new ones feel at home as much as possible...Life isn't so bad here in Milton, Ontario..

what great kids you have
What handsome pups!! The Yorkie is just precious!!!! I just heard last night on the Eukaneuba Dog show that Yorkies are the #2 dog in ACK registration. I found that very suprising. Good luck eith the guy.
Good work Bosley and Dixie!
Poor little Yorkie. He must be so scared but good for Dixie and Bosley to share. And that Sheltie looks perfectly content to sleep on the couch!
Very cute dogs.
The sheltie looks right at home. Is he old?
I hope the little Yorkie settles in. Poor thing. :(
awww....poor lil guy!

The sheltie is 9, but you owuld never guess it. He is in great shape, very obedient and a lovely boy.

The yorkie...well....he did not get picked up by the breed rescue, yet...so is still here. The marking has slowed down..Can't wait to get those testicles gone!!
Funny to watch my fellows with him..We don't normally "do" small dogs, but he really rules the roost already. Dixie is still scared of him, and won't even look at him as he trots by her. Bosley tries to get a sniff, but moves quickly out of his way when he trots by...He trots a lot... 8O
