Each quarter (every three months) the promotion changes. For instance, one quarter it might be gas station purchases, another quarter hotels, car rentals. This quarter (January-March, 2008) the deal is Airline, Cruises, Hotels, Car Rentals. Next quarter it will be Home and Fashion. Every so often they slip in a special -- This February (2008) it will be Restaurants, Florists, Candy shops, Bookstores and *ahem* Pet Stores! Now they are limited offers.. Usually it is 5% of the first $800 or $1,000 in purchases, so you can earn up to $40 or $50 (That's $30 or $40 more than the standard 1%) in rebates. The February special is limited to $200 in purchases so that's an extra $8 in your pocket. Here's the catch: Ya gotta SIGN UP for it at their website. It's not hard, you just log into your account and click a few buttons.
