Just booked my room at the Motel 6 Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage. They don't mind the dogs and don't charge extra for them. Around 5 miles from Pepsi's mommy. My whole family is being dragged with. My youngest wants to go...husband and oldest are the draggees.  Of course Nigel and Bella will be there too. |

Sorry but I wanted to post it in both spots... I know in the General Chit Chat section it is off the page before anyone can find it. I posted it here once we had finalized dates. Saturday we will be doing a get together too... Very informal, probably a meet up at the dog park for a little while.... then we are hitting the town, Palm Springs that is. 
They are a very dog friendly town and I thought it would be nice for the out of towners to get to walk around and shop. Sunday will be the actual event with food, drinks....etc |

| I don't trust Bella without constant supervision. I only trust myself for that. I could leave Amanda with Nigel and her Dad...and Billy if they hang while we windowshop. |
I am sure Billy would not mind at all. 
I don't plan on bringing the kids with me... lol Amanda could watch the kiddies and Phil and Billy could pal around. |
| I would love to come since I missed last year. I dont know if it is wise for me to bring both my dogs by myself since my husband will have to work that weekend. I will have to see if i can make something work |

| You need to call and ask for the special rate for SheepieFest of the West. I just called and they said $73.99 + tax

| NO...was quoted less. I made my reservation on Feb. 12th and they said $66.59+ 10% tax. They may have had a rate increase, but I printed out the email, so we shall see. |
| They also said I would have to call corporate to arrange a special rate...if they even would. This is the Palm Springs/Rancho Mirage Motel 6. I would ask them why your price is higher. |
| The price on the internet is lower, so I may just do it that way. |

| So far we have 10 dogs that are definites!
I need to check and see if Leslie and Scott are coming. That would be at least one more... Then we have a few people that are still unsure. |
Leslie, Scott and Dixie will not be joining us this year.

| I have some good and bad news!!
bad news first...i cant come on saturday...I have to work and will be the only one holding the fort down (so to speak)...BUT the good news is that i can come on sunday....(and im dragging my assistant with me!) We will leave at 8 am to be there by 11 or so......hope this doesnt screw too many things up!! |
| I also may have a problem. Bella gets her staples out the day before. I will just have to see how it goes that week. I am thinking if I could talk Ali into flying out...maybe she would go with me and Nigel. Hmmmm. |
