| I drove home from Orange County last night and it rained the entire trip, which is odd. Usually because of the mountains it doesn't rain on our side.
Then last night or shall I say early this morning I drove through flooded streets to get Hayley to the ER. It is not raining at the moment, but the skies are dark and yucky. I'm sure more rain is on the way. 
We do need the rain though. It don't think we got any rain last year at all expect a few sprinkles here and there. |

| I was warned about the impending storm before I headed to the OC.
Nothing but blue skies the whole way there. The weather was beautiful in OC, warm with blue skies. At 2pm I headed to Laguna Niguel to see a friend of mine. We saw the storm moving in from his balcony which over looks the ocean. This was the first time I had seen the ocean in many months. It was very hard to distinguish the water from the sky, it was so gray and gloomy. The kids and I went out to dinner with my parents at 6 pm and it had started drizzling. |

Oh please, you spoiled brats...  let's not hear about your "whole day of rain"  unless it's causing some property damage to you. Wanna trade for 36 hours of snow a few times a year and 60 or 100 inches of it? Or for Oregon's weather?

| That was a really great pic Elissa...thanks for sharing. We had three inches of rain in a twenty four hour period here also, very unusual.

| We seem to get the same weather all year round now. last year it rained all summer...
I would like to go back to cold winters and hot summers. Sadly I think we won't get them anymore Thats global warming for you  |
| Up until yesterday we had snow all around us on the mountains. We missed by about 500-1000 ft. Sure was pretty. |

| No complaints about the rain here. We're still in extreme drought conditions with about a 17" rain deficit. Bring on the rain! |
| alrighty then, thanks a lot cali girls.....my nice CLEAN floor...is no longer clean....thanks to all the rain....pandas feet have brought in mud, gravely sand and dead grass all thru the house...even with wiping...sigh..
its sunny now and about 55....at 8:45 am....gonna be a nice day i think.... fingers crossed for a dry out...... |

| For the last two and a half hours there has been a Rainbow at the base of the local Mountains. What a site!!! Would not have been possible if it wasn't for the rain.
