I know a lot of us worry about cases like this so I just wanted to post this for informational purposes and so those who were worried could rest easy. All is good. |

Thanks Jill for the update.
I always want to think the best of people and sometimes get the wool pulled over my eyes |
Thanks for letting us know how the pups are doing. Yes--- I did keep fretting about them... |
So the dogs were not returned to the owner? I'm assuming the pups are with rescue/foster. It wasn't clear from your post. |
I'm glad to hear the pups are in good hands. I was quite concerned about the whole situation. |
No, they aren't with the owner. From that I understand, they're with someone who is affiliated with NC rescue. |
Thanks for the update! I found the original post very disturbing. Thank goodness the sheepies are fine. |
Whew! Thank God they weren't returned to the owner. She did seem a bit unstable. Thanks for the update, Jill! |
One of the dogs did eventually being taken into OESRNSE. He is currently being fostered by one of our volunteers. He is doing well and enjoying his foster sisters. |
Thanks for letting us know Betsey
I have also spoken to the lady that has the female, now Chloe. She is doing wonderful in her new furever home with another sheepie, a golden and a border collie Her first week in her new home she was spayed, had a mass removed from her rectum and a dental with a few teeth pulled (thank goodness this 12 month old dog finally got the vet care she needed...sounded more like a 12 y/o's first visit) She was very underweight but, I am guessing she won't be for long!! Thanks everybody Kathy01 |
