they work on batteries and help when you have a lot of barking i have 2 dogs living next door to me that bark all day long and was thinking of trying one of these |
|
All the no bark machines I know of require that the dog wear a collar which either gives them an electrical shock (which I think is terribly cruel) or sprays them with citronella. In either case the owner of the dog would need to implement them not a neighbor. If there is something else I am not aware of it.
Have you called your neighbor to discuss it? |
no this is called bark control you attach it ti the garden fence
and it sends a high pitch noise to about 50ft |

Hmm, I am skeptical of how effective it would be. |
yes thats the device i mean
im in the UK they are alot cheaper im thinking of maybe giving it a go and see what happens thanks for your help |
I was looking at those too, and wondered if they work, if you try it let us know. |
I saw this in a catalogue I received in mail the other day. For a moment, I was interested in trying but then I got to think since this device is triggered by barking, my dog will hear it when he barks but just when he starts to relate that by not barking, that sonic will be stopped, he would hear it again because the other dog starts barking! Or in my case, my dogs have formed a choir, one dog starts, the others follow...sometimes joined by the one next door. The one that stops barking will still be hearing the sonic because the other 3 dogs are still barking! Having three dogs myself and a few loud mouth dogs as neighbors, I could imagine how confusing it would be for my dogs...the next thing they learn, probably is to stay away from the backyard...which will not be good in so many ways. |
hmmm I never thought of that |
