i have a problem
I havnt been on here for many years so im a newbie again i have a problem with Pebbles my OES she went to the groomers on sat and has come back very short haired... she had to be cut short as she was getting matty i have another dog a german shepard X and i cant put them together they want to fight its Pebbles that wants to fight its like she does not know her any more they just want to attack each other any ideas on what i can do to stop them fighting and get them back to how they were before ie.. best of friends its been nearly 3 days ive had to seperate them pebbles is a good dog but she is spoilt by me mostly |

| It's just in the last 3 days that they've started fighting?
What has preceded these events? Is there a new toy or change in routine, new person in the house, something along those lines? It's very strange for two dogs who were "best friends" to suddenly start to fight with one another... Also - what kind of fighting is this? Are they going to injure each other, or is it a lot of growling and such? Depending on what they're doing, some research says to let them work it out, they need to decipher who is going to be dominant and who is going to be submissive. Sometimes fights can arise when the submissive dog refuses to submit so the alpha feels her place is being challenged. More info, please! And sorry to hear that you're going through this...  |
| its really bad fighting like she wants to kill her
i cant leave them alone at all its been nearly a week now im not sure what to do thees a child saftey gate between them im going to try and walk them both together tomorrow and see what happens |

Sorry to hear you're going through this - I imagine it is extremely difficult, and I admire your attempts to do the right thing first and foremost. |
| Is Pepples spayed? Not sure if your GSD is a girl either but if they are both girls and not spayed, the hormones flying around can really be a bad thing especially if one of them is coming into season. |
