bread too dense from bread machine

I have a new bread machine, I have tried 3 times to make white bread. All were to heavy, dense ect. the onlything thats came out perfect were sweet buns. Anyone have ideas. What am I doing wrong? HELP!
By the way ALL ingredence are new. Nothing old or left over.
