I also have a almost 4 year old boxer mix and I have been feeding him Diamond for a few months after reading on different sites that it was such a good food. Any how I have decided to switch the dogs to something different and i need help. I go to the stores and read labels but I have no idea what the heck I'm looking for. thanks |

Personally I feel best giving Tucker food that has clearly marked and understandable labels. We give him holisitic food, right now it's called "Go!" which is a Canadian brand. Ingredients should read like, "chicken", "egg", and so on, not a lot of things you've never heard of or by-products at all. I found my brand by just going to a few different stores and talking to the staff to find the one I liked the best. |
The first sticky on this site(medicial) had grade your dog food it is good print it and then google dog food that you like their sites will have the ingredients. Find a food that has meat as their first, no wheat, seem to be the main. I hve mine on Acana Canadain it is Canadian made but I think there is others that are very close 33lbs costs between $40-47. Depends on what you buy reg Adult cheapest where their Salmon and potato is more and their lamb and rice. Again use the sticky you will be surprised at what you get. |
