I am very dissapointed as I was looking forward to our first litter in February, in one way I am not suprised, because she was late in season this time I had to break of a business trip and fly home on a Tuesday evening from Belgium, (I am forunate to have an understanding boss) on the Wednesday we went to the stud dog returning on the Friday this turning out to be a day to late so she was only covered once. As she is only three we have plenty of time and we will try again at her next season which is due in June, I intend using the same dog as he has sired some lovely pups and he comes from the same lines. In between times I will try and make her up to be a Swedish and Luxemburg champion, (gives me something to do). To my suprise I have received a lot of enquiries regarding puppies from Germany and from abroad including a few from forum members, furthermore apart from a few most of them have had an OES and were now looking for a replacement for their much beloved pet who was now at Rainbow Bridge, these people have had the advantage of having had an OES and the chance of us having one returned is low. Enquiries have come from the owners of my bitches brothers, they asked about her temperament to compare it with their dog, here we were astonished to find the dogs are very alike in many ways, our dogs are healthy (my bitch only visits the vet for her jags), full of vitality, extreamly affectionate, good breed specimens and like all sheepies adorable. Now I have to wait and see how things go, in one way I am quite happy as in summer it is easier to have the pups as they can be let outside to play, rather than having to stay indoors because of the weather and ransacking your house. |

Stewart: I am sorry no pups this time. I'll cross my fingers for next time. Good luck! |
Our fingers and paws are crossed for the next time! |
One time I took a bitch to the vet to have an ultrasound and much to my dissapointment he said there were no puppies. I took her back a week later and guess what....there were puppies! She ended up having nine! This might not be your case but keep an eye on her just in case. |
Sorry it sounds like there are no puppies...it would be cool if you got the suprise Amber had. I agree...keep an eye on her. |
Thamks for the tip I was thinking of having a blood test done coming week to make sure, many thanks for the best wishes received. |
