Have you tried Bluing shampoo a.k.a Whitening Shampoo?
It really helps lighten up the area and of course helps get rid of bad smell. |
One of the ways I get my sheepies beard clean for the shows is by using baking soda, I take the baking soda mix it with a little water and turn it into a paste, I then cover the affected area with the paste and leave on for about 15 - 20 min, I then rinse the dried paste out with vinigar water and wash thourghly with blue shampoo, normally does the trick. The one of my sheepies who manages to get the dirtiest beard is my show bitch, the dog need his beard washed very seldom. |
Yes, I have tried the whitening shampoo......I have had 4 OES, so I do the whitening thing regularly. He is hard to bathe now because he doesn't like to be lifted and he will not use a ramp or steps. I have not tried the baking soda, though and I will give it a shot. Thanks so much for your suggestions. |
