This morning I heard his whining again, but he already had his accident. So I took him out and let him run loose on the lawn for a little bit and he did pee once. Before I take him back in, he had a very little bit of water. After I crate him, he whines again, but this time both the treat and the ear rub doesn't work. Soon enough, he had 2 accidents in the crate. After the clean up, I put him back in the crate. He would whine for a brief minute while I was insight, and when I walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth, his whining stops. When I stepped out and get dress, he would whine again until I am out of sight. I finally picked up a shirt that I wore last night and hang it on the door of the crate to make him feel homey in the crate. Now the questions that I have is this: 1) Can I say that Mipanda is comfortable in his crate or is it too soon to tell? And 2) is there signal that I can spot before he makes a mess in the crate? Thank you for the support, the shirt method really helps~ Please continue to educate me with your personal experiences. I know books helps, but I know that every dog is different and you just can't use 1 book for all the dogs. |
