Then, I thought how lucky am I to get to talk to all my comrades in sheepies! Surely can't get better than that. I have to say I find you guys extremely smart and entertaining! |
|
I hope you find some oes'ers to chat with if you're still up. ....it's late, but i wanted to wish you sweet dreams. I'm only up to grab a few cookies to take to bed |
Sheesh we are into Saturday night here, we can see the future |
I am very smart and entertaining. |
Hi Lisa since you can see the future maybe you can send me the lotterie no's for next week. Lol Stewart |
Drat! I'm too late to get in on the conversation as it's now Saturday.
Oh well! You're right about one thing.... a good group of people hang out here! Marianne |
Did you guys realize that Lisa will know when Mrs J is going to have Baby J? |
I don't think Mrs J would want the future prediction, brie says to cross those legs till 1st.
Mean aint I. |
So Lisa (and Brie) will know that Mrs. J. delivered the day before we know????? |
This is frustrating, a few hours without Mrs. J's reports or recipes makes one wonder if the stork is on radar now. |
lol, lisa... you are so right. With my MIL coming in 5 hrs, I am doomed.
Don't worry... no baby although with all the cleaning we have done today, I've been having nonstop contractions the last hour. TRUST ME, IT JUST WON'T HAPPEN THOUGH. Mr. J and I have noticed my belly has really expanded tonight (this is w/o dinner) ...and I've gained 2lbs. It's also drooping even more. .......plus more mucus plug and some "bathroom time" which is a very common indicator of something starting. With all that, I figure if I can be dilated for what... 3 wks like this and have all these symptoms for so long, it means nothing. All this and Mr. J is already excited about baby J #3. I'm sooooooooooo scared to go into labor. I imagine Brie will be pacing around getting anxious too as her time nears. Can't wait for those pics! |

Hey brie says you have it easy girl You only have one to pop, brie also has sympathy to how you feel at the moment, she says her show girl figure has gone to the pits. and she can't stop eating She says hang in there as it would be nice to know her and you can pant and contract at the same time. She also says you humans have it easy when it comes to labour. Tell Mr J to get real, wonder if he would want baby J 3 if he was in labour and popping a baby Brie says she wished there was epidurals for canines & mutiple births |
That's SO funny because while writing my last post, I contemplated saying I'd switch w/her any day until I realized she had to keep popping furkids out. Then I realized I had it good
I also love how she can't stop eating. I ate an entire thing of dip (made of 8oz cream cheese) today. Do you know how much fat is in that? |

When I had my twins - the almost 10 pounds of baby! - my MIL made a comment.
You haven't had a real baby yet. It did make me glad I delivered in 2 smaller "pieces" of under 5 pounds each. 3 years later, Travis was almost 9 pounds - and I told her - "see, I had a REAL baby this time." |

Tell Brie Belle's wishing her the same kind of delivery she had (OK, so she only had two puppies ) A few contractions, circle a few times, poof, puppy out. Wait 45 minutes, repeat, done. Of course, while it was a non-event for her, it was anything BUT for me. I was home baby sitting her while her breeder (and then owner) was at a benched show 2 1/2 hours away - meaning you can't leave till they release you. Belle was pacing and nesting quite a bit and I was convinced she planned to have the puppies on my bed, so I called her breeder at the show and told her I thought she was in labor and she said, hogwash, she isn't due for a week. Well, I've never been around a bitch in labor before, what do I know? Two hours later I call her up again. I really think she's in labor. No, no, I'm told, but just to keep yourself occupied, why don't you find the whelping box in the garage, clean it and put it together? I'm cleaning and looking at this incomprehensible collection of wood that somehow screws together to become a whelping box and Belle's pacing and I'm thinking, well, there are lots of experienced breeders in this area, maybe one of them can help, but, oh, WAIT! They're all at the show too Finally breeder gets home. Whelping box is still in bits. Belle and I are BOTH pacing now, so she tells us to buzz off and she'll put it together. Ten minutes later I'm snuggling on the floor with Belle and rubbing her belly when I feel the first contraction. BIG. Oh my god!! We race downstairs and I yell "incoming!!" and even though the box isn't ready yet, Belle hops in and out pops puppy #1 Belle was fine. Breeder and I should have been medicated... (Don't let Brie read this in case she gets any ideas... ) And I'm sure you're smart enough to put the whelping box up EARLY. Kristine |

I'll make sure LeAnne reads this........ Oh, you recognized the boy. Wasn't sure if you would Lisbeth arrived much more decorously, of course. Probably pushed him out first "Here - you try it. If it seems OK, maybe I'll make an appearance." Kristine |
Now that is just funny to think of those two as puppies!
Did they just lay around going "hmmmm I wonder!" and settling in to there already old lady and gentleman personalities? Or did they actually act like spazy puppies? |
