Postcards from the edge of reason!
 Here are vignettes from preparations to move: 
1. Listed my townhouse: open house on Sunday 13th. 2.The house is a mess: toys everywhere: things that are upstairs should be down and things that are downstairs should be in the garage. 
3. Wood trim needs painting. Find paint and brushes and paint. The troops are fascinated. Warned everyone to steer clear. I put my hand down several times on freshly painted bannister.  Percy hopped onto the painted ledge by the door and hopped off swearing!  Willoughby is amazed but not into the paint! 
4. Decided the downstairs rooms would look bigger if I took down the curtains and rods leaving the blinds: repair holes:plaster & paint. 
5.Wash and put away curtains: they weigh a ton! 
6. Realtor needs two new keys to the front door. I need to get "Form B" from the management company. 7. Keys made, new rug for entry bought; forgot "Form B"! 8. Faithful friend and neighbour will mind Percy and Edwina on Sunday. Willoughby and I are going for a walk and then to the A&W. 
9. I have developed insomnia due to thinking aobut all the things I have to do next!
10. The living/ dining rooms look bigger without the curtains and rods. 
11. Iron bedskirt for Percy's bed (he has the guest room) so I can push things under the bed.
12. Requested "Form B".

| Ah, I love going to open houses! Never thought it takes so much to prepare everything for just a couple of hours...
From now on, when I go to open houses I will feel sorry for the people who live there, thanks to you.
