I know dogs chew but anyone else encountered this before..... |

I would worry that one of the pieces of wood is blocking her. Is she able to pass stool? Ha she vomitted at all or attmepted to and couldn't? Is she eating?
This is just another reason why crate training is so important. You never know what a puppy can get into when left alone. I would make a visit to the Vet if she continues to act lethargic...Hope it works out and puppy is feeling better soon. |
I'm a little more than worried. Look up the emergency vet phone number. You may need to make an emergency trip tonight. Have you felt inside her mouth to see if there's a piece caught in the roof of her mouth. I also worry about toxic substances on the door or paint.
Never leave a puppy unattended. The crate is not cruel, it is their safety pen, their den. |
A few years back I had a dog in rescue for only 4 days. He perforated his intestine by ingesting a piece of wood or bone splinter. Nothing came up in X-rays it was so small, but he slowly got poisoned.
Get this puppy to a vet. There is also the chance of lead poisoning from the paint. |
