In St. Louis (3 days) I had bacon every, single day. I hadn't had bacon in a year! I've eaten exactly what I've wanted, but in limited quantities, and have kept up with my exercising. Oh yea...and did I mention...we've had a "few" cocktails over the season? I weighed in at Weight Watchers today, and (drum roll please!)...I LOST 2 POUNDS SINCE BEFORE THANKSGIVING!!!! (Is it rude to clap for yourself?) Yep....I guess the key is everything in moderation. I did not at any point feel deprived. I even had a Red Robin bacon cheeseburger!!! Come on! New Year here...! We can stand together and accomplish ANYTHING! |

Sounds like you've definitely made it a successful lifestyle! |
Great job Deb!! |
woohoo! Of course you can clap for yourself! And you know, sometimes I think eating things that you normally wouldn't in your regular 'good' diet can help things because it shakes up your metabolism because it isn't used to eating it. Plus, I'm sure you weren't eating 10 slices of bacon each day. Hooray for moderation!!
Oh, and I've gained 7 pounds since Sept... |
Go Deb!! Go Deb!! GO DEB!!
You've successfully changed your lifestyle and implemented new eating habits. By all means, clap for yourself!! You deserve it!! Susan - you crack me up. |
